Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, a wealth of information is currently being formulated ready for distribution before the end of the year (1st November I am given to
understand).
The two CD box set will give virtual tours of Grafton, FULL church records of both Grafton and Alderton along with the transcribed wills for both villages. Estate record information for the
other villages. Abthorpe, Ashton, Blakesley, Blisworth, Cold Higham, Darlscote, Furtho, Greens Norton, Hartwell, Grimscote, Heathencote, Potterspury, Quinton, Roade, Shutlanger, Stoke Bruerne, Whittlebury, Yardley Gobion
to a lesser extent Passenham (Cosgrove, & Old Stratford are not part of the Estate but are covered by, some of the following data). The 1674 Hearth Tax, surveys, rents, hospital records from 1744, Quarter Sessions records
from 1686-1834, a list of data base of wills for each village from 15th - 19th century, and many other details. All will be made available through a cross-referenced information
database. This package should be of great interest to genealogists, historians and educators at all levels of concern. Please note that this will be a limited edition of 3,000 only.
